Art in the Burg 2027

We are accepting applications for the 2027 Art in the Burg Art Fair, benefiting the Cedarburg High School arts programs. Over 60 artists and 800 attendees gather at this annual event to raise funds that go directly to further education and passion for the arts within our student body.

$50 early bird through November 1, 2026, then $60. Refundable only if the event is canceled.

What to know before you apply

To keep the fair a quality show, we ask for 3 digital images of the current work you want to exhibit.

  • Art in the Burg is a juried fair. Applications are reviewed by the Art Fair Committee, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
  • All work must be the original creation of the artist.
  • Resale items, mass-produced products, soaps, candles, lotions and oils, and food items may not be sold.
  • The show is indoors, on the southwest side of the school in the Field House.
  • Exhibitors provide their own displays and backdrops. Displays must fit inside the assigned booth.
  • A limited number of booths have access to electricity, assigned first come, first served.
  • WiFi is available.
  • Digital images of your work may be used to promote the show.
  • You are responsible for your own sales tax. No commission is charged.
  • Bring your own change. The committee cannot provide it.
  • Except in an emergency, artists stay until 4:00 p.m.
  • Refunds are offered only if the event is canceled.
  • The committee may remove work that is unsuitable for a public school environment.
  • Volunteers help with load-in and load-out.

Apply and be accepted by November 1, 2026 to keep this rate. You pay only after your work is juried and accepted.

Art in the Burg raises money for CHS fine arts students. If you would like to donate a piece to the silent auction, describe it here. This is optional.

Payment

Nothing is due now. If you are accepted, we will send instructions to pay your $50 booth fee.

Liability waiver

Cedarburg School District and FAB insurance waiver and release.

I understand, affirm, and agree that I voluntarily waive, release, indemnify, hold harmless, and discharge Cedarburg School District, and their employees and parents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, rights of actions, or legal proceedings whatsoever, whether personal to me or any participant should he/she become injured or cause injury to others, while participating in the Art in the Burg. I further understand that this WAIVER is binding even if any injury, loss, or damage should be caused by genuine negligence. I acknowledge, affirm, and agree that I have had sufficient opportunity to read this WAIVER of my rights, that I understand its content, and that it is legally binding, and that I execute it freely, intelligently, and without duress of any kind and I agree to be bound by its terms. I hereby consent to the waiver and release of any and all claims as described in this Release Form.
